Our innovative analytical methodology helps identify key variables indicative of illicit use or planned illicit use technologies. TechINT is recruiting for a skilled individual to work on site at the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC) Technical Exploitation Unit (TExU). The successful applicant will perform electronic and trend analysis of IEDs and associated components to include device identification, radio frequency and signal characterization, electrical schematic reconstruction, electronic data recovery and possible trends in IED related matters.
Job Description: Perform circuit analysis of electronic circuits & schematics to determine functionality. Develop accurate schematics of complicated devices in various conditions in a timely fashion. Conduct soldering/de-soldering of electronic components, reverse engineering, schematic generation, troubleshooting, and testing. Accurately enter characteristics of devices into databases & other tools for further analysis. We're looking for an electronics technician who can use their skills to apply advanced technical solutions in support of law enforcement investigations. Our team performs a wide range of technical examinations required to successfully exploit both commercial and custom electronic devices, including performing electronic data recovery and digital forensic examinations to identify and understand information of interest. In addition, you'll conduct reverse engineering and characterization of both the electrical function and communication characteristics of electronic circuits, while using complex instrumentation to test circuit function. *NOTE: This position will have TDYs. They will typically last 1-2 weeks!
