International Transformation Foundation (ITF) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people and fostering sustainable water resource development. Our mission focuses on improving access to clean water, promoting youth entrepreneurship, and creating economic opportunities in underserved communities. ITF engages young leaders in service projects that address real-world challenges, including clean water initiatives and community development efforts in Africa. Through these programs, participants gain leadership experience while contributing to meaningful global impact. Our work combines hands-on service with cross-cultural learning to help develop informed and engaged global citizens.

As the Marketing & Communications Director , you will lead ITF's communications strategy and strengthen the organization's public presence through storytelling, branding, and digital engagement. You will oversee marketing initiatives that increase awareness, attract volunteers and donors, and highlight ITF's impact around the world. This role offers valuable experience in nonprofit communications, brand management, digital marketing, and strategic leadership. Please note that this is a remote volunteer position.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement ITF's communications and marketing strategy.
• Lead the Communications team and oversee marketing projects.
• Manage ITF's brand identity across all communication platforms.
• Create and oversee social media campaigns, newsletters, blogs, and website content.
• Coordinate public relations activities and media outreach.
• Develop marketing materials for fundraising campaigns, volunteer recruitment, and organizational events.
• Monitor website and social media analytics to evaluate communication performance.
• Ensure consistent messaging across departments.
• Collaborate with leadership to communicate organizational priorities and impact.
• Support fundraising campaigns through strategic marketing and storytelling.
• Manage communication calendars and campaign schedules.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen ITF's public visibility and community engagement.

Eligibility:

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in nonprofit marketing, communications, or public relations.
• Preferred: Experience managing communication projects or teams.
• Preferred: Strong writing, branding, content creation, and digital marketing skills.
• Minimum availability of 15 hours per week for at least six months .
