Job Description
Busy, growing local organic food distributor has an opening for an experienced driver to deliver to our customers throughout N.Y., N.J., New York City and Long Island.
This is a non-CDL position but you must be able to pass a DOT physical.
Responsibilities Include:
Safely operate a standard shift 24’ straight truck.
Have the ability to lift 50lb boxes, bend, push, pull repeatedly.
Operate a hand truck with up to 250lbs on it.
Operate a pallet jack with up to 2500lbs on it.
Must be a team player and work well unsupervised to complete deliveries.
Position is Monday thru Friday.
FORK LIFT experience is a plus and could lead to a full time warehouse position if not a driver.
Health benefits are offered at a shared cost to employee.
Competitive compensation TBD at time of interview. Plus overtime is available.
